The betting man put money on the Warriors to cover tonight but the Clippers spoiled that with a 119-104 win. Terrance Mann put on an absolute offensive performance, Nicholas Batum made his open threes and was assertive on the defensive end. Tyronn Lue had a great plan with keeping Steph Curry from taking over the game tonight. Curry got 33 points but that wasn’t enough for the warriors tonight. The effort and game plan for Los Angles was flawless. Clippers are creating their own narrative with this shorthanded team.
Tough matchup tonight with Warriors in town. Clippers came out hot with good intensity and effort. Marcus Morris Sr. had an early three and the Warriors cant find their rhythm. Steph curry of course finally found his rhythm as he is hitting the step back threes. Clippers are staying on pace with the warriors early. Reggie Jackson is showing great drive to score at the basket and pulling up to shoot those threes at the right moments. Draining them too. Warriors will out shoot the Clippers though 34-37.
Clippers atying with the Warriors in the 2nd quarter. Steph Curry was making his shots but he needed his rest. thats when the Clippers started making their own shots. Batum with a three point shot to tie the game mid way thru the 2nd quarter. not t mention Batum’s defense holding the Warriors to tough matchup. CLippers have the halftime lead at 61-59 with the team shooting at 52% from the field. Warriors are doing their thing matching that field goal percentage.
