Clippers are taking on the Knicks tonight on ESPN in Los Angles. Tip off is at 7:00pm PT. Clippers torched the Lakers in their last game as the Knicks barley got beat by the Phoenix Suns. Julius Randle for the Knicks got ejected from that Suns loss for shoving Cam Johnson. Johnson would go on to hit the game wining three pointer when time expired. Knicks are sitting games back from the Atlanta Hawks for that first spot in the play in playoff spot. Clippers are riding high on their five game win streak and are putting distance from themselves and the Lakers.

Are the Knicks Any Good?

The New York Knicks are struggling to find offense this year as they sit 27th in the league average 105.2 points per game. Derrick Rose had a minor surgery on his ankle about a week ago addressing that same ankle he had repaired in 2021. Kemba Walker has agreed with the Knicks to take the rest of the season off. The main source for energy and scoring has been Julius Randle. Randle has been averaging 19.9 PPG and 10 Rebounds per game with 5.2 assists as well. Correspondingly, Randle is the heart and soul of this team right now as his defense and intensity makes a mark in every game he plays. However, that has not been enough for the Knicks as their record is 25-38. Spike Lee has been shaking his head in disappointment for near a decade now.

Clippers Hot Hand

Los Angles Clippers put on some great number against the Lakers in their last win and as a result their play in spot is relatively safe. Reggie Jackson put up 36 points with 4-8 from behind the arc. Jackson’s effort level has really set a hard nose work effort for the Clippers. Ivica Zubac is getting no love for his season in the mainstream sports networks but don’t sleep on this guy. Zubac is looking much better with the rock in his hand and his blocking game on the defensive side has stepped up. Additionally, Zubac had 19 points against the Lakers and in his last time against the Knicks he had 17 points. The Clippers are quietly making their new script a legitimate one and if Paul George gets back for the playoffs expect the teams cohesiveness to only go up.

Betting Nuggets for Tonight

The Los Angles Clippers are favored by 5 points tonight with the over/under sitting at 220. Tonights money line for the Clippers is -220 and if you want t ride this hot hand until it ends the books put some juice on it. However, that might not be a bad call. The five point spread for the Clippers tonight is a bit steep but completely doable against this struggling Knicks team. Watch for Julius Randle to get his 10 rebounds so check out his prop bet. Reggie Jackson put up 26 points against these Knicks early this season in the 102-110 loss. Under dog will be live tonight as the Knicks are looking to bounce back from that buzzer beater loss to the Suns. Remember to Bet Responsibly and Go Clippers.
