Dougie Hamilton is going back to the east. The defenseman has agreed to a seven-year deal with the New Jersey Devils. Hamilton and the Hurricanes were not able to come to terms on an extension. The Devils have a young core that will greatly benefit from adding Hamilton.
Dougie Hamilton’s deal is a seven-year contract for around 60 million. We will provide more details on the contract when they are available as well as any other important parts of the deal.
