France vs Netherlands
Deschamps’ men took on the Dutch in the first match of the UEFA EURO Qualifiers. Both managers went relatively full strength in order to bolster their chances of qualification. Aurelien Tchouameni played 76 minutes and registered an assist. He was solid in and out of possession and showed why he’s undeniably one of the first names on the team sheet for his nation.
Ironically his substitute was Eduardo Camavinga who came on in the 76th minute. He played in the midfield despite Deschamps saying he’ll mostly play at left back during this international break.
Let’s see if Camavinga and Tchouameni start against Ireland in France’s next match.
Sweden vs Belgium
Courtois and Belgium traveled to Sweden to take them on in the Friends Arena. Belgium won by three goals to nil. Additionally Thibaut kept a clean sheet and completed three saves.
They face Germany next Tuesday for the second match of their qualification campaign.
Spain vs Norway

Carvajal, Nacho and Ceballos will face Norway in the Estadio La Rosaleda today. Spain is starting a new chapter with new coach Luis de la Fuente at the helm. So it’s a chance for each player to impress. Spain’s talent is unquestionably strong so let’s see how well they do and how quickly they adapt in these matches and in the upcoming tournaments.
Croatia vs Wales
Modric will lead his national team for the first time in 2023. They face Wales and will look to put on a good performance in front of their fans. There’s a lot of speculation around Modric’s name due to his contract situation in Madrid. Nevertheless, he has remained steadfast and is working to get that contract offer that he wants.
Morocco vs Brazil

Brazil and Morocco meet for an international friendly and rumor has it that Rodrygo, Militao as well as Vini will all start the match. This is big for the players as it’ll aid their case for a place in the starting lineup when qualifications and tournaments commence.
In general, let’s see how these matches go and how the Madrid players perform and cope with the intensity and workload given to them. They will certainly be entertaining games with interesting match ups. As long as everyone arrives back in Madrid in good shape and health, Carlo and Madrid fans should be happy for this break.
