With Wild Card weekend upon us, here’s the playoff field ranked as teams look to go on Super Bowl runs during this year’s NFL Playoffs.

14. Miami Dolphins

Coming into the playoffs with questions at the quarterback position due to injury and finishing the season 1-5 after an 8-3 start is why Miami finds itself here. Even with the dynamic wide receiver duo of Tyreek Hill and Jaylen Waddle, the Dolphins don’t have enough players offensively and defensively to compete with the upper echelon of the AFC.

13. Seattle Seahawks

Sneaking into the playoffs after a solid start to the season, but a tough stretch in the middle of the season caused them to fall out of the top of the NFC West. Seattle has the pieces offensively to keep up with their opponents; it’s if quarterback Geno Smith can make the plays and not turnover the ball. For Seattle to pull off multiple upsets, they’ll need to lean on rookie running back Kenneth Walker to chew up the clock and keep the offense on the field.

12. Tampa Bay Buccaneers

After a very up-and-down season, Tampa Bay, led by quarterback Tom Brady finds themselves back in the playoffs but remains far from NFC favorites. With a defense hoping to get back to health and an offensive line having key players return, there may be hope for the Buccaneers. It’ll take finding a run game, which has been extinct all year as the offense has had to rely on Brady to move down the field. Tampa Bay has the pieces to go on an NFL Playoff run, but it may be too late in the year to piece it all together.

11. Baltimore Ravens

The Ravens’ playoff hopes rely solely on quarterback Lamar Jackson‘s health, as he’s been sidelined since Dec. 4 with a knee injury. This team has managed to crawl into the playoffs through the tremendous play of their defense since the addition of linebacker Roquan Smith. With a healthy Jackson, the Ravens can beat anybody, but without Jackson, the Ravens will again be early out in the playoffs.

10. New York Giants

The underdog of the NFC is a team built for the playoffs, as they’ve managed to scrap their way to a 9-7-1 record. Even with a poor wide receiver core, the offense still finds a way to put just enough points on the board to stay in games, while the defense has come up as of late. The Giants are a team built to stay in close games but cannot come back from large deficits, which is their main downside as a team relying on the run game of running back Saquon Barkley.

9. Jacksonville Jaguars

After a 2-6 start to the season, many counted out the Jaguars, but with the emergence of quarterback Trevor Lawerence and finishing the year 6-2, look out for Jacksonville to make noise in the playoffs. Head coach Doug Pederson has completely turned around this team after back-to-back years with the worst record but now finds his team in the playoffs for the first time since 2017. With the duo of Lawrence and running back Travis Etienne, the Jaguars can keep up with any team. The key will be the defense finding stops and turnovers, which will decide the fate of this team.

8. Los Angeles Chargers

For the first time, quarterback Justin Herbert will see the playoffs but will most likely be without wide receiver Mike Williams. The Chargers have dealt with injuries throughout the year, drastically hurting this team’s performance. There’s no doubt that the Chargers have the talent to go on a Super Bowl run; it’s if they can stay healthy during the season.

7. Minnesota Vikings

A team known for close games throughout the season finds themselves in the top half of the NFL Playoff rankings due to the questions of the defensive play of the Vikings. Minnesota is a team that can go the distance or can be eliminated in the Wild Card. During the season, the Vikings won numerous one-score games, but it would be by double digits when they lost. There’s no question they have the talent on offense with wide receiver Justin Jefferson, but the focus will be on the defensive side.

6. Dallas Cowboys

With one of the best defenses and run games in the league, the Cowboys have their best chance of winning a Super Bowl since 2016, but they will have to go on the road to do it. Dallas can compete with the best in the NFC, but the play of quarterback Dak Prescott will be the key to how far the Cowboys go in the postseason. Prescott leads the league in interceptions thrown, but the formula to going the distance will be running the ball and keeping the ball out of Prescott’s hands so he doesn’t have to force the ball downfield.

5. Philadelphia Eagles

At one point, being the best team in the league and NFL Playoff favorites, the Eagles struggled to end the season due to the shoulder injury to quarterback Jalen Hurts as the offense ran through him. If he can get back to full health, the Eagles will find themselves in the driver’s seat to win it all, but we haven’t seen that in December. There is no doubt that Philadelphia was once a team of density; the question is if they can find it again to make another Super Bowl run.

4. Cincinnati Bengals

The hottest team in the AFC with its last loss on Halloween, the Bengals have all the pieces to go on another Super Bowl run after starting the season 0-2. A key factor will be the offensive line with the losses of guard Alex Cappa and tackle La’el Collins. The Bengals have done it before with a poor offensive line, but it’ll show as they started the season slowly due to the offensive line’s play. The offensive playmakers of quarterback Joe Burrow and wide receiver Ja’Marr Chase will do their thing; it’s if Burrow can stay upright with pressure in his face.

3. Buffalo Bills

After coming up short last season, the Bills will have to get over the hump that is the Kansas City Chiefs. There’s no question that the Bills have the talent to win the Super Bowl; it’s if they can finally beat the Chiefs in the playoffs. The Bills came into the season as the favorite to win the Super Bowl. Still, with the loss of linebacker Von Miller, they find themselves leaning again on quarterback Josh Allen to carry the offense and lead the Bills to their first-ever Super Bowl victory.

2. San Francisco 49ers

The hottest team in the NFC as the 49ers have won 10 straight, during which they’ve lost veteran quarterback Jimmy Garoppolo. Still, rookie quarterback Brock Purdy has seamlessly stepped into the starting role. Purdy has done enough as San Francisco is loaded with talent on both sides of the football with the No. 1 defense in the NFL while also having one of the most talented offenses in the NFL. With having the most complete team in the playoffs, the 49ers find themselves as the NFC favorite.

1. Kansas City Chiefs

Once again, the most NFL Playoff experienced teams in the league are the AFC’s favorites, as Kansas City continues to dominate the league with the MVP favorite quarterback Patrick Mahomes. Now known as the next dynasty in the NFL after the end of the New England Patriots’ reign, the Chiefs with Mahomes have reached the AFC Championship yearly with him at the helm. There is no reason to doubt the Chiefs won’t be there again, as Mahomes will look to make another Super Bowl appearance.
