Last week saw a few more team clinch a playoff berth, like the Chargers for example. Going into this NFL week 17 slate, there are so many games that matter. From teams trying to get it, to teams trying to boost their seeding, here are the must see games of NFL week 17.

Buccaneers vs Panthers

While these two teams might not be the most fun to watch at times, this game has a lot of importance behind it. A Panthers win would put them tied for the division with the Bucs. If the Bucs win, they will be in line to win the division and to be headed to the playoffs. The Panthers are coming off a week where they ran for 320+ yards on the ground against the flaming hot Lions. Sam Darnold has done alright since he took over, and now this team is in position to maybe squeeze into the playoffs. The Bucs come off a very close win against the Cardinals. The Bucs offense has been hit and miss this season, with a lot of misses and not so much of a run game. This game is gonna be huge for either side, as the winner finds themselves in the best spot to make it to the postseason. This matchup for the NFL week 17 slate will come down to whose defense can dominate the opponents offense.

Dolphins vs Patriots

This is a huge divisional game, but not for the division. With the playoffs about to be kicking off, there are only one or two spots left in the AFC. The Dolphins are in one of those spots, and the Patriots are on the outside looking in. The Dolphins are coming off another loss where it seems like they should have won then all of the sudden it’s a loss. Tua Tagovailoa had a rough second half, and now may be in concussion protocol. Teddy Bridgewater would be in line to start next, but it’s unclear how severe Tuas injury is. As for the Patriots, they come in off another bad loss. They had a chance to storm back from a 22-0 deficit but ended up with a late fumble that sealed the loss to the Bengals. Mac Jones has become almost a heel at this point, and the Pats seem to be in the most disarray ever under Bill Belichick. With all of that being said, both of these teams have a way to fix it all and still make this season a success. A win would be massive for either side. A Loss for the Dolphins would make week 18 a stressor, while a loss for the Patriots would end their season.

Jets vs Seahawks

This game is a massive game for two teams who are looking to get into the playoffs. Both of these teams are on the edge, and a win could potentially put one of these teams into the playoffs. Both of these teams lost last week, both in games where the Jaguars and Chiefs dominated these two teams. Mike White is set to start for the Jets, so that gives the Jets fans some hope. Both of these teams have been beaten up as of late, so there will be some late adds to the active or non active. Win and your season is alive next week. However, for the loser of this matchup, their season will be over. Both of these teams started out hot and have been sliding as of late. With hopes of keeping the season alive, neither of these teams want to lose.

Vikings vs Packers

This is a huge game for the Packers. After a massive win in Miami, this Packers team has been hot. They have won their last 3 in a row, and need to continue to win in order to make the playoffs. The duo of AJ Dillon and Aaron Jones has been elite on the ground, and they have been powering this Packers offense as of late. For the Vikings, they continue to win close game after close game. Last week they beat the giants with a 61 yard game winning field goal by Greg Joseph. Kirk Cousins has done well at command of this offense. New addition TJ Hockenson has been a huge addition for them, being an amazing compliment to Justin Jefferson and Adam Thielen. For the Vikings, at worst a loss will make them maybe fall back to the three seed. However, if the Vikings win, they could potentially avoid the Packers seeing them for a third time this season in the playoffs. This game is a massive one for Green Bay. If Green Bay loses, the season is over. If the Packers win, they will go into week 18 needing to win one more. The Vikings are looking to keep the two seed, and remove the Packers from the playoff race.

Bills vs Bengals

This Monday night game for the NFL week 17 slate is a big game for both squads. The Bills are looking for the one seed and have the AFC playoffs go through Buffalo. The Bengals are looking to win to lock up the division. A loss could be a big blow for either side. For the Bills, it means the two seed potentially. For the Bengals it means a potential 5 seed and no home playoff game. The Bills are coming off a huge win against the Bears. The Bengals come off an almost blow lead and win to the Patriots. The Bengals have been playing better than the Bills as of late, but the injuries are starting to add up. This Monday night game looks to be one of the biggest games of the week. With Joe Burrow vs Josh Allen, this looks to be an exciting matchup. With two of the best and brightest QBs battling with playoff seeding on the line, this looks to be an amazing way to end week 17.
