A team spokesperson via text gave the word from within the building. Stating that the organization is not commenting on anything related to a potential transaction of the team. Some names that have been rumored or announced to bid are Josh Harris with the addition of Michell Rales. Harris is the principal owner and managing partner of the Philadelphia 76ers. As well as another name is Amazon founder Jeff Bezos.

Bezos was rumored to be making a bid for the Commanders. However, uncertainty lingers on if he was able to make a bid.
