Report: WSU’s Cam Ward Being Offered NIL Money To Transfer

Cam Ward Transfer

The original Pac-12 has just wrapped up its final season. It’s sad that Oregon State and Washington State, two teams on the rise were left behind. Now they’re being picked over. The former already lost their head coach and now according to reports, Cam Ward is being offered $1 Million in NIL deals to transfer.

Two of the programs that are offering money to the WSU Junior are soon to be former Pac-12 rivals. Oregon and Washington will both lose their quarterbacks in the NFL draft. With the transfer portal set to open next week, players are already announcing decommitments. Cameron Ward has not announced that he will enter the portal or stated that he will be returning to Washington State. So some questions have arisen and top-tier programs such as Oregon, Washington, Notre Dame and Texas A&M are trying to lure Cam Ward into the transfer portal.

Ward has thrown for nearly 7,000 yards, and 48 touchdowns to 16 interceptions in his time in Pullman. His talent is among the best quarterbacks to be in college football next season.

“Cam Ward has 10 seven-figure deals waiting for him,” said Huard. “He has 10 different deals from around the country that will pay him seven figures to come play quarterback. How ludicrous is college football right now?”

In total, Ward has received 10 offers from teams all over the country. With the reports alone, we could be in treat for one of the biggest college football offseasons of all time. With 10 teams leaving the Pac-12, it should be a highly interesting transfer period. With uncertainty on their conference, WSU and Oregon State may have it worse than any other school.
